Happy Thanksgiving to all. Lucia was one month old on Thanksgiving. She is thankful for two most loving and giving families. She is also thankful for her health, friends and her faith.
We had another weight check on November 22. She did well. She weighed 10lbs 9 ounces and was 22 3/4 inches long. She is still a peanut and such a good baby. She is starting to coo and smile at things. I swear she looked in the mirror and smiled at herself. She must think she is beautiful.
Carlina loves holding her little sister and is always there to put her nukkers in when she starts crying, or give her a blankie (as long as it isn't her blankie) when she is cold. I think the sister bond is already beginning. Nothing like having a sister in life. Carlina doesn't like to take naps or go to bed at night. She is in a big bed now but we still have Lucia in a bassinet in our room. It will be quite the transition when we have both of them in one room. We will see how long that lasts. These last six weeks have gone by so fast. It is going to be so hard to leave the girls. I also think that it will be hard for Carlina. It seems as if she has an attachment to me and is more aware of strangers. Carlina talks so well now. She repeats just about everything and you really get a close look at how you talk, act and respond because she is my imitator. Carlina is still in the process of potty training. We usually have to ask if she has to go, and will many times. I hope she gets the idea soon:) One in diapers is enough:)

Enjoying the Packer game with Great Grandma Pape. I slept through it all. Go Packers.

I tatooed my hands. I came into the living room and Carlina had both sides of both hands markered up. She was pretty proud of herself.

We seen a goose on our Pre-Thanksgiving Dinner. Dino wanted his dinner too, but he is on a diet. It was sure a beautiful goose. Carlina loved it.

Go Packers! Carlina can spot that signature G and say Go Packers. Smarty pants;)

I took a photo shoot of Lucia one day. She just slept the whole time.

The blanket was made by Bonnie. They came to visit a little after Lucia was born. Lucia finally has her own blankie that Carlina can't steal away. Just a beautiful blanket.

We brought Lucia over to the babysitters to meet the kids. Carlina wouldn't get in the picture, but was quite protective of her sister. Carlina was a little shy in the beginning, but then didn't want to leave. We just love our babysitter.

Bonnie and Mark came to visit.

So sweet. Godmother love.

Katie holding Lucia.

A family picture before church one morning. Can never get enough pictures.

Carlina enjoys the swing too:) She gets herself in and covers herself up too. Too bad she doesn't fall asleep like Lucia does.

And of course we need some cow/farm time.
