8 month attachment

Another month past. Carlina is 8 months and is having a blast at the babysitters. She has had two colds now, but is still such a happy girl. Sleeping took a turn for the worst though. She gets up about 3 times per night now. Some people think it is around the time where attachment sets in and she wants us by her side. Well, this can end anytime. I guess that is what happens when you get to stay home for her first 7 months. She is starting to wave and stand up on her own. It won't be long before she starts walking, I think. It also sounds like she is saying "hi" when she waves or someone comes over. Food is Carlina's best friend. She watches everyone eat and makes the motions like she is eating. She is eating all fruits and vegetables. She has even eaten many bland table foods such as pizza crust, noodles, cheese and bread. Cheerios are still her favorite and she is doing great with her two fingers. She is still toothless though, but we keep blaming her sleep patterns on teething. Someday! She enjoys taking toys out of the toy box now and likes toys where she can put things in and loves watching/laughing at dogs.

Mommy's roommie from Carthage came to visit. We had a blast together. Thanks for a great time!

Oh yeah, I had rice cakes too from Cousin Cayle. They were yummy. Thanks bud.

Auntie Amy and Uncle Adam watched me while Mommy and Daddy went out for their anniversary. Loved the wagon ride with Cayle.
