5 months and counting!

On Sept. 9, Frank and I had our ultrasound to make sure everything was going well. Wow! The ultrasound was amazing. We could see so many features and movements. The baby wanted to keep it's hands in front of it's face the entire time. We had to go back after our appointment with the doc to try and get some better pictures, however, the baby didn't move too much to get the best picture. Here are some of the fun pictures from the ultrasound. They are labeled under the picture since some are confusing trying to see what part of the baby you are looking at. It is quite amazing how the ultrasound technician can see all the different aspects of the baby. She also made sure to move the screen every time we could have possibly found out the gender. Still a surprise for all!! Everything went well with the doc also. All seems to be going smoothly. The heartbeat was 138 again and the baby almost weighs a pound now. The baby's size fell into the normal range for a baby in this month. All is good!




































A couple more pictures of the growing belly. It has really taken off now. I am really starting to feel the baby move around, but not enough that Frank could feel yet. We are starting to accumulate some baby items and getting the baby room organized. We painted the room a taupe color, however, we think it may have a pink tint. We don't have motivation to change it though. Hoping the decorations will take away from the color:) Our next appointment is Oct. 7. It will be just the normal check-up, but we have some decisions to make about the H1N1 shot.
